Responsibilities:
Investigate, plan, and execute major and minor capital projects to improve overall performance of Thermoforming Operations.
Effectively execute all aspects of a project: planning, financial justification, organization, capital spending, contractor & vendor scheduling, and overall project effectiveness.
Collaborate with production & support teams to provide on-site technical support to ensure operational success.
Effectively train technical and support staff on any executed projects.
Responsible for personal safety and safety of others by ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and standards.
Ensure vendor & contractor compliance with all required training, policies, and procedures in accordance with Berry Global EHS directives.
Assist with all other projects as assigned by leadership team.
Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 1-3 years of manufacturing experience required.
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and provide direction in a positive manner.
Proficient with 2D & 3D modeling software and Microsoft Project.
Ability to travel as required (approximately 10% annually).
