Plastikon Healthcare is looking for a Production Coordinator.
This position is a liaison between the different operational departments supporting production activities assuring all elements of the productive process are being considered coordinating the production schedule through planning strategies, methodologies, and project executions to optimize the production internal supply chain.
Follow-up the transformation process as a main leader, communicating any essential activity related to the quality system, material management, safety, and product cost.
Direct support to production supervisors to prepare inventory reports, material shortage, internal/external calibrations, and maintenance planning to balance production workload.
Direct leadership on lean manufacturing methodologies such as 5S’s, production or manufacturing execution system, follows the designated procedures and policies applied by the company.
The production coordinator is responsible to perform the following duties: * Assist management in ensuring plant productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
* Communicate with all departments, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality and Shipping to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
* Create work orders, verify new batch records for completeness and create production labels.
* Make sure all batch records are completed on time and returned to quality for proper storage.
* Create requisitions and process orders for MRO and production supplies.
* Optimize, implement, and successfully coordinate production efficiencies and quality standards.
* Manage production schedule to assure a clear-to-build plan is in place and communicate any changes to the management team.
*Essential Functions:* * Follow-up for execution of the production schedule.
Elaborating daily reports for management.
* Assist with coordination of production planning, materials transactions, material review board.
* Collaborates with operational personnel (line leader, supervisor, engineering, leader, and maintenance technicians, etc.
), in monitoring and supporting the production plan.
* Monitor MRO and production supply inventories.
* Create records and support the process sustainability to maintain positives trends on all operational KPI’s.
* Facilitate production report to management for decision making process.
* Can work as direct support or assistant to operations manager.
* Follow-up and create response and root cause analysis to NCR’s related to production execution systems.
* Coordinate the preparation activities in conjunction with the supervisor for production inventory execution.
* Lead the ERP activities for all production process, assuring all products made are transferred properly from one location to another.
* Verify the correct filling in all manufacturing records and quality documentation in support to production supervisor.
* Partner with team on plant safety programs to ensure the safety of all employees and products.
* Perform 5’s in accordance with the best manufacturing practices.
* Assure the quality of the product by following the cGMP and Plastikon Healthcare Policies.
* Follow the escalation path and communication process to solve issues related to production execution process.
* Support daily production operations of the company or any other specific assigned task.
* Can train other production employees on job specific tasks and duties.
* Create daily productivity reports from assigned areas as part of standard job.
* Create change control to updating and maintaining all production documentation.
* Track production spendings and write expense reports.
* Support the continuous improvement through lean manufacturing methodologies.
* Follow cGMP’s as per the quality manual to assure compliance with all applicable systems and regulations by keeping all procedures and standards up to date in accordance with Plastikon Healthcare Policies.
Keep legible records, assuring a 100% compliance in accordance with cGMP and cGDP.
*Basic knowledge Requirements:* * Microsoft office – advanced skills for reporting and creating presentations.
* Time availability to work with different shifts.
* Previous experience with ISO 13485 and QSR.
* Previous experience with FDA cGMP’s.
* Quality systems training.
* Lean manufacturing.
* Lean six sigma.
* Previous experience in supply chain systems.
* Experience with inventory management.
* 5’s applied to daily basis job.
* APICS training or previous experience is a plus.
* Previous experience with ERP systems.
* IQMS.
* Bilingual.
