As we continue to grow, we are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Foam Controller in our Lawrence, KS location.
*\*\*Individuals with Asthma, chronic upper respiratory conditions or respiratory sensitization to chemicals should not apply this position.
\*\** *Essential Responsibilities:* · Responsible for reading daily production report and properly and safely running equipment, gauges, monitors, etc.

· Responsible for properly adjusting hose positions and foam nozzles.
· Ability to identify pans based on gauge, stamp, flush, and width.
· Must have an understanding on how to set up and operate raised panel presses including die changes, nitrogen, stamp definition, wonder ware codes, and basic troubleshooting of the press.
· Responsible for overseeing foam reactivity and density (via bagshots), hot melt glue systems (backer plate placements), embossing press, and the accuracy of cut lengths on all FIP products.
· Responsible for monitoring chemical temperatures and pressure, ISO and POLY tank set points.
· Responsible for ensuring correct stamp insert placements.
· Responsible for controlling line production speed and the starting and stopping of the production line.
· Responsible for Quality Checks and making necessary adjustments/recommendations.
· Responsible for verifying proper assembly of door section, including verifying the level of foam injection, point of compaction, correct stamp pattern orientation and placement, correct length and fill weight.
· Must be proficient in Navigator and correctly ordering run sheets for the production line.
o Complete and pass all required Navigator training courses.
o Be able to sort the work benches to release the labels in the correct order.
o Accurately record and enter inventory transactions in a timely fashion.
· Responsible for inventory accuracy of parts consumed on the production line such as pans, stiles, bottom rail, bottom rubber, etc.
· Communicate with Supervisor and ream members in a clear and professional manner.
· Responsible for wearing proper PPE.
· Responsible for cleanliness of work area and general housekeeping.
· Asist in training of new team members.
· Any other duties as required.
*Physical Requirements:* · Standing/Walking: Job requires standing throughout the entire shift.
Short distance walking of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis during the shift, depending upon the position assigned.
· Lifting/ Carrying: Job requires lifting of section pans and stacking of banded door panels to various levels.
Maximum required individual lifting limit is forty-five (45 pounds).
Must be able safely work with another team member to carry or lift door panels in excess of forty-five pounds.
Frequency of lifting and carrying is job task dependent.
· Pushing and Pulling: Pushing of carts is often required.
Occasional pulling to steer the cart is required A force of 50lbs is required to move a loaded cart.
Pushing forces required in excess of 50 lbs requires two persons.
· Ability to use measuring tools for quality checks and basic adjustments to the equipment.
· Computer skills (Navigator and Excel.
) · Understanding of Inventory Control practices.
· Basic math.
