Description: This position is responsible for operating main line plow for its intended purpose, with little or no assistance, in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage, or loss of life.
Operator handles moderately complex work activities using main line plow, and other heavy equipment, which may include trucks, horizontal directional drills, excavators, front-end loaders, dozers, and other pieces of equipment.
The main line plow operator is responsible for daily cleaning, maintaining, and securing all equipment as directed by legislation, policies, and procedures.

Position Type: Full-Time or 1099
Compensation: $27 to $32 hr: 1099 rate is based on experience

Skills: Use of equipment as appropriate to level roads and/or working area, ensure proper drainage, and develop proper grade.
-Must have proficient knowledge of equipment safety.
-Ability to operate a single axel truck in a safe and responsible manner.
-Basic Knowledge of Telecom construction and maintenance techniques.
-Basic to advanced Knowledge of Vibratory Plow Operations.
-Experienced in equipment cleaning and standards and procedures.
-Ability to read, write, and record activities to maintain daily records.
-Ability to exert more than 75 pounds of force occasionally.
-Ability to exert 70 pounds and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
Class A CDL with current medical card is preferred
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
